AgCamp is a hands-on, extra-curricular experience designed to immerse students in Queensland’s agriculture and agribusiness industries.
What Is AgCamp?
AgCamp is a structured program for Years 10–12 students that combines:
Accredited chemical safety training
Industry visits and workplace exposure
Personal development workshops
Mentoring from agricultural professionals
The program is delivered in a supportive and engaging environment, helping students build confidence, skills, and industry knowledge.

Accredited Chemical Safety Training
A core feature of AgCamp is nationally recognised training in the safe transport, storage, handling, and application of agricultural chemicals.
Participants complete accredited units that prepare them to:

Manage workplace risks
Follow best-practice procedures
Comply with industry standards
On successful completion, students receive a Statement of Attainment, providing a recognised qualification that strengthens employability and compliance.
Ongoing Support Beyond Camp
AgCamp provides structured monitoring, mentoring, and transition support.
Students receive:

Ongoing check-ins
Support with career planning
Assistance transitioning into further education, training, or employment
