  • Attendance for both days is mandatory to complete the program.

What Is an AG Intensive School?

The Ag Intensive School is a structured program for Years 10–12 students that combines:

  • Accredited chemical safety training

  • Industry visits and workplace exposure

  • Personal development workshops

  • Mentoring from agricultural professionals

Accredited Chemical Safety Training

A core feature of Ag Intensive School is nationally recognised training in the safe transport, storage, handling, and application of agricultural chemicals.

Participants complete accredited units that prepare them to:

  • Meet legal and safety requirements

  • Manage workplace risks

  • Follow best-practice procedures

  • Comply with industry standards

On successful completion, students receive a Statement of Attainment, providing a recognised qualification that strengthens employability and compliance.

Ongoing Support

The Ag Intensive School provides structured monitoring, mentoring, and transition support. Students receive:

  • Guidance from experienced industry mentors

  • Ongoing check-ins

  • Support with career planning

  • Assistance transitioning into further education, training, or employment

Industry professionals are matched with student groups and provide continued engagement through online mentoring sessions.
